Investigadores de la Universidad t\u00e9cnica de Eindhoven en los Pa\u00edses Bajos han creado un diminuto sensor de temperatura que<\/strong> no necesita bater\u00eda<\/strong>, lo cual representa un gran descubrimiento, ya que abre la posibilidad de crear nuevos tipos de tecnolog\u00eda<\/a> a partir de \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan reporta Tech Times<\/a>, en lugar de tener una bater\u00eda, este peque\u00f1o sensor de temperatura<\/strong>, que mide tan solo 2,5 cm, obtiene la energ\u00eda de las ondas de radio que conforman su red. Adem\u00e1s, el sensor de temperatura\u00a0<\/strong>se comunica de forma inal\u00e1mbrica a trav\u00e9s de la misma red, con lo que se elimina la necesidad de una conexi\u00f3n f\u00edsica con otro dispositivo para transmitir los datos que reciba.<\/p>\n

El sensor de temperatura\u00a0<\/strong>tiene un router<\/a> especial, el cual dispone de una antena que env\u00eda ondas de radio a los sensores para encenderlos. El sensor tambi\u00e9n dispone de una antena que capta la energ\u00eda del router<\/a><\/strong>, la cual es almacenada dentro del dispositivo. Una vez que se recibe la energ\u00eda suficiente, el sensor se enciende, mide la temperatura y env\u00eda una se\u00f1al al router.<\/p>\n

Este concepto, que a\u00fan se encuentra en desarrollo, utiliza un nuevo tipo de tecnolog\u00eda<\/a> que podr\u00eda ser bastante \u00fatil en el futuro para la creaci\u00f3n de otros dispositivos. De acuerdo al comunicado de prensa publicado por la Universidad de Eindhoven, es posible que, usando esta misma tecnolog\u00eda, se creen otros tipos de sensores para medir la luz, el movimiento y la humedad.<\/p>\n

Peter Baltus, profesor de tecnolog\u00eda inal\u00e1mbrica de la Universidad, piensa que este sensor sin bater\u00eda tendr\u00e1 un amplio espectro de aplicaci\u00f3n en el futuro<\/strong>, con usos que van desde la identificaci\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica, sistemas de pago, sistemas de producci\u00f3n industria y edificios inteligentes.
