La tecnolog\u00eda<\/a> no solo contin\u00faa haci\u00e9ndose con espacios en el campo m\u00e9dico, sino que adem\u00e1s marcando hitos. Tal es el caso de HAL, un exoesqueleto<\/a> (armaz\u00f3n rob\u00f3tico) que ha sido aprobado por el Ministerio de Salud de Jap\u00f3n para uso terap\u00e9utico<\/strong> en pacientes con enfermedades como esclerosis lateral amiotr\u00f3fica (ELA) o distrofia muscular que les han hecho perder la capacidad motriz.<\/p>\n

Esto, luego de que las pruebas cl\u00ednicas del mencionado terminal en territorio nip\u00f3n revelaran que los pacientes que se somet\u00edan a nueve sesiones de ejercicios durante un periodo de tres meses pod\u00edan andar distancias m\u00e1s largas<\/strong> que aquellos no sometidos al tratamiento.<\/p>\n

En lo que respecta a c\u00f3mo marcha este exoesqueleto<\/a>, vale mencionar que los sensores adheridos al muslo y a otras partes del cuerpo detectan se\u00f1ales d\u00e9biles del sistema nervioso y ordenan al armaz\u00f3n, que yace recubriendo las piernas y ayuda a moverlas mediante el uso de sus motores.<\/p>\n
